COLOURPOP CANNOLI HIGHLIGHTER TRIO // PRODUCT REVIEW
Colourpop Cosmetics. An LA based brand whose philosophy revolves around cheap, high quality, cruelty free make up. They shadows and pigmented Lippie Stix are well known by all make-up junkies, but for me, this is the first time trying their supershock highlighters. I bought the Cannoli Highlighter Trio for US$16.00, which is pretty damn cheap for how large and how pigmented they are. The texture of these highlighters are hard to explain to anyone who has never touched a Colourpop product before. It's like a wet cushion, only when you apply it it magically sets like a powder.
Previously, Colourpop shipped internationally and required shipping costs based on weight. However now if you buy over US$50.00 worth of products you get shipping free. It took 10 days to arrive to me and that is from the time it dispatched.
These supershock cheek formulas are so ridiculously pigmented and they go on the sin beautifully, blending out like a dream. From the swatches below you can see how intense they are. If you use your finger you are going to get the most pay off out of the colour, however on a daily basis, I like to keep my glow more natural and apply it using a stippling brush
Recommended for Medium skin tones:
Frosted: satin soft true gold
Whipped: tie dye warm silvery taupe
Wisp: pearlized golden champagne with gold pearls

Overall, I love these products and would definitely buy more. They are intense, great quality and affordable. When swatched and applied the highlighters are not at all chunky and blend out with ease. This would be a great beginner product as it is easy to apply and could also be used on the lids.
